They seem to be quality rigs, but I am hoping I can get some feedback if this Company is as good as I think they are. We're focusing on a new Open Roads 32SA model as it is the King Bed version of the popular 31SA model. Any thoughts/feedback appreciated. My hope is that I can get MH discounted 20-25% from MSRP, but am concerned this being the introductory year of this model I may have difficulty.Elkmont Campground, GSNPThis campground only accepts walk-ins During the month of November, and apparently does not have an active telephone line to check general availability. (The number for the Campground accepts messages for folks needing ADA sites... so I hesitate to leave a message when I don't need those requirements). Anyone know how packed this campground is during off-season. In Knoxville and Elkmont looks like good weather this weekend (60's) so thinking about driving up. Just don't want to make that trip if the place gets packed up. Anyone with experience camping up there in November, would appreciate insight as to what I need to be prepared for. Camping with a Class C, and of course would want a river site in Section D... Thanks.Dish Tailgater - existing subscriberIs the true (and only) monthly cost for using the Dish Tailgater only $7 to existing subscribers? I'm thinking about buying this system if there aren't additional costs... ThanksRe: Water heatersI recently replaced my Girard Tankless unit with an Atwood 6gallon water heater. I think you may have been lucky to get 30% use out of a Tankless water heater - total garbage in my mind. New Atwood works like a charm. Was installed without any modifications to camper - with one exeption... the Atwood exterior cover is different than the Girard cover, so I had to get the new white cover painted. This was an expensive swap... but I now enjoy camping again. Best of luck to those who decide to keep these Girard (or other) units. My RV is a 2013 Jayco Melbourne and I received absolutely no satisfaction from them either when I shared my complaints about the Girard product. These are cheaper water heaters than Suburban or Atwood, so you get what you pay for. Jayco and other companies are trying to sell these as an upgrade, which is really kind of silly if you price them out.
