I use Reese Teflon ball lube, I wipe it off when I unhook the trailer if I think of it at the time or just wipe it off with my jeans the next time I walk by. If you could still find It Brylcream would probably work good, that stuff was pretty greasy. But yes I do believe in lubing the ball and equalizer bars.414Views0likes0CommentsFurrion customer service
I had problem with the Furrion DV5100 radio-DVD player that came in our 2016 StarCraft Launch 26RLS, it would not eject the DVD. I called Furrion customer service and got a recording, about 30 minutes later I got a call back from a very pleasant young lady. I told her about my problem and she told me that the 5100 was an older unit and not available any longer, the 5100 has been replaced by the 5600,she took my information and is sending me a new unit, I have to send the old unit back as soon as I receive the new one. Towing with 3/4 ton Ram Diesel, using Ezee Lift WDH with 12in shank,1000# Bars and double Ezee Lift friction sway bars. The question I had was has anyone used the 16in shank and have they had any problems with it. I currently have a 12 in shank coming out of my receiver on my truck, I need about 4 more inches to be able to lower my tailgate without hitting my trailer jack. Several companies offer a 16 in shank but I am concerned about extending out that much farther and creating stress problems on the receiver and hitch. Has anyone used the 16 in shank and have you had any problems with doing so, my trailer weighs about 7000# loaded, pulling with a 3/4 ton truck.6.4KViews0likes38Comments
