Answered all my questions and provided solutions. Wouldn't be without one.Re: Draining hot tub after boondocking? Grey water..When I hosted for the Sawtooth Ranger District in central Idaho, I asked the LEO about dumping gray water. His response was that you could wash dishes in a pan, take that pan outside and dump it. If you wash those same dishes in the sink, drain that water into your holding tank, then the water become gray and must be disposed of into an approved septic/sewer. It is the holding tank that creates the need to dispose of the gray water into the septic/sewer.Re: Dockweiller RV ParkI had occasion to stay there a week during the summer last year to allow the grandson to attend a science camp at UCLA. There are times during the day when planes are taking off every 48 seconds from LAX. Overnight the intervals are extended. The exhaust residue from the jets has covered everything with an oily film. I wasn't suppose the leave until Sat., but I decided to head north on the I405 on Friday at 5 pm just to show how desperate I was for some relief from the constant noise. There aren't many places that I have parked/camped that I would not return to, but Dockweiller certainly makes that list.Re: New Antenna? Not all batwing's are Winegard. I had a Signal Commander batwing on the Big Horn that the Sensar wouldn't adapt to. Installed the Jack head on the mast without any noticable improvement.Re: Tires from Costco or Sam'sJust check the tire's specs to make sure you are comparing apples to apples. During my latest search for tires for the 5er Walmart had a very good price on BFG Com TA but the specs listed for the "E" wasn't 3042lbs but 300 lbs less. I called & spoke with the manager and he said they sell "special runs" with discounted specs and prices. I suspect that with Costco's purchasing power they may be able to do the same.Winegard auto dome & the HopperIs the Winegard auto dome (one coaxial line out) compatible with the Dish hopper/joey receiver? I am wanting to get the dish output to the bedroom tv without running coaxial. Other solutions? Thanks.Re: Electric fireplaceHow do you know it is on the same breaker as the hot water heater? Is the unit hard wired or plugged in via outlet? Mine is plugged in and on the same circuit as the ground fault plug in the bathroom, so when it is tripped it does not work. The units themselves are easy to remove, just remove the facia piece and it will be held in place by screws. Remove those and pull the unit out of the cabinet, then you have access to the switches and wiring. I've replaced one switch and the heating/fan element. Contacted the manufacturer and they sent the parts needed for a very reasonable price.Falken R52 HD light truck tireswww.sears.com/falken-r52-heavy-duty-1245-75r16-light-truck-tire/p-09551378000P? Has anyone had experience with these tires? The Falken page list them at 51 pounds which is on a par with both the R250's and Ribs. I know they aren't full steel but would like to get some first hand knowledge concerning service and durability.Re: Boise, id CampingWorld ServiceI have used both. Nelson sells the Heartland Big Horn's. I gave the sales guy a copy of the bid sheet I received from an internet dealer in Indiana and Nelson wouldn't come under $10,000 of that bid. The savings paid for quit a nice trip to pick up the trailer. The warranty work that Nelson's did was terrible. I can think of only one thing that was corrected with just one visit and I had to drive about 60 miles one way to get there. I finally talked with Heartland and they said I could use an independent and they would reimburse approved work. After CW opened I had them install our washer/dryer combo and they replaced a converter after the warranty had expired. Both were done with appointments and accomplished satisfactorily. They do have hook-ups there but you should confirm availability.Re: 12 volt light fixture problemBoth bulbs were burnt out when I returned. I confirmed that by trying each in another fixture. New bulbs are the same model #1141 bayonet base. I tried both new bulbs in other fixtures, both worked. Hope additional info helps. Thanks for the replies.
