I will go and get a hand vacuum pump tomorrow...Vent ControlTrying to track down a vacuum leak that is causing the vents to default to the defrost position. I have good vacuum inside the engine compartment. I am ready to move onto the next step but need some help. I found where the vacuum line comes through the firewall. I proceeds to connect to a manifold of some type. I want to remove the black line from the bottom of this manifold to see if I have good vacuum or not but, I am not sure how to remove it. I hate to make the problem worse by breaking something. Any clues on how to remove the black line? Below is a link to some pictures.https://imgur.com/a/UFcRa Thanks, RussRe: Wiring DamageAlready repaired it with wire and and some splices. Whatever it is it must be working now... lol..Re: Wiring DamageI am the third owner of this vehicle and do not have a lot of documentation. But, a block heater makes sense.Re: Wiring DamageYou are not looking at the problem correctly. See the copper wire splayed out. If you look closely at the picture, it used to have insulation on it and it connected to the wire at the top right that appears to be cut. It is 14 gage wire almost like a lamp cord..Wiring Damage Our dog decided to protect our motorhome from critters and tore up this area behind the front passenger tire. I have no problem repairing the wiring, but I am curious to what this wiring goes to or what function it serves. Any ideas? Everything seems to be working ok... Thanks in advance... RussellRe: Slide Out Adjustment Help!Turns out not to be an adjustment problem... Floor is rotting on that side of the slide out. :(Re: Slide Out Adjustment Help!Just figured out I have a Dewald Hydraulic Slide Out System.Slide Out Adjustment Help!I can see from the inside of my Gulfstream Conquest travel trailer that the slide out is listing to the right by about 3/4 of an inch. Is there some sort of adjustment to bring the right side of the slide to be the same as the left side? The picture is my Gulfstream motor home and not my travel trailer incase anyone gets confused.. Thanks, RussRe: Ford E-450 6.0 Turbo Diesel OverheatingReally good videos put together by Long Long honeymoon. I just purchased the CAN GAUGE II DATA MONITORING TOOL to monitor what is happening.
