I use an "idiot stick". A sanding pole that painters/tapers use for ceilings. I have used a swifter in the past with microfiber rags mounted on it (the rubber holes will hold) but found the stick wasn't sturdy enough. Just have to be careful the pole doesn't flip on you - happens when actually using it for sanding once in awhile.Re: Hitch-mounted motorcycle rack Valkyriebush wrote: X-2 Versahaul. 3000lb additional towing limit is why I use it on the jeep, not the RV. Had two metal plates attached to hitch undercarriage attaching hitch to bumper as well for reinforcement, and unibody braced. Used mainly for hauling only. Although I've driven the jeep short distance w/scoot loaded, I avoid it. It ain't going nowhere unless the rear of the jeep goes with it. :) I think you'll be ok, 50lb over, I wouldn't worry about it. My set up weights about 500lbs. Click For Full-Size Photo. Nice Big Ruck! I have a clone and use the same hauler on my Jeep Commander or the back of the 31' Class C. Works great!Re: Happiness is a washed and waxed Class CFixed picture hostHappiness is a washed and waxed Class CNot much appreciation around here so thought I would post where I know people appreciate the work it takes. Weather is finally turning here so despite camping one weekend at the racetrack already, I finally was able to wash and wax it after storage. Too bad the picture was kind of blurry.Re: How/Where do you transport/store propane? ChooChooMan74 wrote: You can also get an adapter tee off your main tank and run a high pressure hose to your grill. That way you don't have to mess with the little cylinders. This is my setup and it works great. Not only can you run your grill off it but also can run your RV furnace/stove/water heater off an external tank in a pinch in case you run out and can't break camp for whatever reason.Re: Onan 4000 Start Runs and Dies IssueBad fuel pump.Re: Towing Jeep Liberty on a dolly?Did some quick reserach and according to Jeep - the answer is "No"...damn.Towing Jeep Liberty on a dolly?Hello all, If a newer Liberty can be falt towed with the transfer case in neutral, can it also be towed on a tow dolly? It's my girlfriends rig and rather than invest in the flat tow setup I'd like to be able to use my dolly with it. It seems to me if the transfer case can be put in neutral, what difference does it make if it is on a dolly vs. flat? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!Re: Sunseeker ConstructionI think FR has come a long way. My 2013 3011DS Forester appears to be very well built. I've done a lot of wiring in vehicles (used to be in that business) and am impressed by the amount of wire ties used and attachment points. All holes aree well filled with sealer and wires passing through them are immobilized by the sealer. Haven't found any spots that I thought would rub or wear so far and I have installed a lot of aftermarket stuff (TriMetric battery monitor, hardwired surge protector/EMS, mobile Blu-ray/DVD player, additional wireless camera etc).Re: onan generator troublesFuel pump...does it make any noise when you prime using the outside button? Take the line off the carb and see if it sprays any fuel when priming.
