The Refrigerator works fine when its hooked up to "land" But not generator. Everything else works great on the generator

Refridgerator keeps kicking off
I have a 40 foot american tradition diesel pusher. Everything else works fine. Refrigerator keeps kicking off. It will come on for maybe 30 seconds than kick off and just blink on the circuit. Any suggestions?

Solar Panels (why are people going small?)
I read thru the forums, and it looks like every one is buying 4 100 watt panels............ Why not just get 300 watt panels? I have a 40 foot RV............. Is it possibly to go COmpletely off grid with 2 roof top AC's? Can I line the whole roof with them, now that the panels are less than 70 cents a watt. I have an american tradition that is already rigged with a huge sine invertor, and a controller..... What am I missing? Whats it going to take for me NOT to use my generator, other than tripling my batteries?

Solar panel on a 2006 american tradition
I have a factory installed solar panel on a 2006 american tradition. If I put the battery disconnect in store will it work? Or do I need to turn on the main circuit and the charger fuse panel?
