I'm looking for photos of Class C rigs with painted wheels. I'm especially interested in what you've done with the lug nuts and rear hubs. Thanks. jor Re: Under Dash ComponentDisregard. I got it off. jorUnder Dash Component08 E-450 Superduty, 09 LazyDaze I'm trying to get to the dash wires in the steering area. I removed the trim but I don't see how to remove the large foam block in the photo. How do I get this thing out of the way? Thanks. jor foam blockRe: Leveling Blocks drilled a bunch of holes down the center between the two screw lines. I'm likin' this idea. Thanks. jorRe: Leveling BlocksOP here. Went with 2X8s. They weigh about 13# apiece and I've got a compartment they just fit into. Thanks to all. jor rampRe: Leveling BlocksThanks for the replies. Now I'm gravitating to wood although those 3-high plastic deals look pretty good. Anyhow, if I use 2x8 or even 2x6 those babies will be much lighter than my 2x12 monsters. Still thinking. Everybody have a great Saturday! jorLeveling BlocksWe've had several class As with automatic leveling systems but now we have a class C and I'm considering what type of blocks to use. Our rig (27') came with a bunch of those stackable deals but I think I would prefer something simpler. I have a set of blocks that I've used for years at home with the class A. They are 3-high 2X12s. They work great and will raise a rig 5" but they are heavy . I like the looks of those single piece 3-level deals but the prices are all over the place. I also see those rocking things which look like they'd work. Also, I see that some people use pieces of horse mat (3/4"). Anyhow, just looking for a recommendation on what to get. Thanks. jorRe: Roof A/C IssueOP here. All fixed and blowin' cold. The solution turned out to be simple and at the best cost - free. After searching for capacitors, thermistors and thermal overload switches, I simply reset the Dometic 5-button and whadayaknow, success! Thanks to all. I now know a lot more than I did about that roof a/c! jorRe: Roof A/C Issue I need to know if your wall tstat looks like this No, it's a 5-button Duo-Therm Comfort Center (photo here thermostat). Speaking of the thermostat, yesterday morning I reset it according to the directions. It got up to 102 or so yesterday and that a/c didn't miss a beat. It's 101 right now and it's going strong. One other thing, before I reset it, I would turn it on and select cool. There would be a significant delay before the fan came on. Now, the fan starts up right away. Could be this is my problem. Keeping my fingers crossed. jorRe: Roof A/C Issue Here is a parts list Thanks a million! jor
