Even the owners manual I have for the microwave doesn't show the convection in itCoachman Concord convection microwaveHello everyone. I have a 2005 coachmen Concord 275DS. I've seen in the paperwork I have that there was a microwave convection oven combo available as an option. Unfortunately the paperwork does not show the two model number between just a regular microwave and the combo one. The regular microwave is a Dometic. Anyone have the combo and if you don't mind looking at the model number and giving it to me please. Thank you all DougRe: Is there a preferred oil for the Ford V10 E-450?Before I came into possession of this motorhome I believe it ran Ford brand of semi-synthetic. Since I've had it I ran Mobil 1 synthetic through it once. I have now run Chevron Havoline DS full synthetic In the six quart box they sell at Walmart. 5W20 and one 0w20. I run the motorcraft filters because they usually have them at Walmart. Buying the five quart jugs and one extra quart to get six, it is cheaper to get the cardboard box by a long shot. With Fords unfortunately having idiot gauges I can't tell you if it runs any better oil pressure or not.just that it seems to not say check gauges when I first started after it sits for a long time since I've switched over to the 0w20. No I don't need that but I like it anywayRe: Battery upgrade.. how in a 4winds with....I ran into the same problem as you are. I have a coachman Concord 275DS. There's only enough room for one battery without extensive modifications that do not want to do. If You have the measurements of your battery box You can look at AGM's in the solar field. I put a battery called a mighty Max It was 135 amp hours that worked really well. Then I came into possession of a battery called NPP that is 155 amp hours. This was the biggest battery high-wise I could fit in my box that's in my step. The only modification I had to do was to extend the threaded rods for the safety strap. Now if I'm at a rest stop I don't have to worry about power. we can turn on this light or that light, we can be wasteful is the best way to put it. You do need to make sure that your converter can charge it at the right voltage which I believe is 14.6v, the one I have is just at the minimum and I haven't had any problemsTrip report/TiresHello every one. Here is a Report on a Trip i Just took. This was from The Kern River Valley,CA to LaRue,TX,(East TX) and back. 2005 Coachman Concord 275ds on a 2004 E450 V10 4speed. Tires: Corsa Highway Terrain Plus. I here you all ready, but here me out. all give stats first. 3 polyester + 2 Steel + 2 nylon Tread. 3 Polyester sidewall. 2470LBS duel rating. So why those tires? The RV was slated to be sold. The Firestones that were on it were old and not holding air. It had sat for a few years. I took it out for a test run to Great Basin National Park. One of the duels would not hold air, had to buy a cheapy to get home. So Americas Tire(Discount) had those for $91. Guy said alot of oil field guys bought them. Ive worked the field in Bakersfield/Kern, its rough on tires. Tire were great in the rain, maybe a little loud on some concert. They tracked good( well as good as a E-serise twin beam can). As of now I plan on keeping them for at-lest 2 years. I do recommend them especially if you think you are going to sell it latter on. I they were made in Indonesia. On to the rest. Roads SR178 to US395 to SR58 to I15 to I40. Then in New Mexico I took US84 down to I20 Then US175 the Rest. Went the same way home. There are some miscellaneous miles also. 3227.6Miles 398.663 Gallon of gas, put 45.85hr on the Generator (onan 4000) I ran 70mph as much as i could. Got 8.09MPG. Pretty happy with all that, especially when compared to my old G30 RV I had. I Was surprised on the weight. I took it through a CAT scale with full water and fuel, me my wife and 6year old boy and all our stuff.I had just dumped the holding tanks too. Front 4240 (4600) Rear 9280 (9450) Total 13520 (14050) Only 170lbs left on the rear. Water and fuel tank are behind rear axle. not much tongue weight for my 6x10 enclosed trailer. There will be an update to this next April. Should have new bilsten on all 4 corners plus the stabilizer and 5 star tuner.Re: Big truck passingGetting pushed around just part of the game.my 389 Peterbilt will get pushed around every so often when somebody passes me going a lot much faster. If I start to get pushed into the emergency lane I just put my foot all the way the floor and pull myself out of it, works in the motorhome too that I haveRe: Updated and solved...Door lock Trimark 30-1050/030-2650Hey Gjac I was pretty disappointing too especially with the cost of the darn thing. And I do push on the door before unlocking it, but it's a good tip for somebody else to seeRe: Updated and solved...Door lock Trimark 30-1050/030-2650Hi Gjac. The dead bolt is not MagneticRe: Updated and solved...Door lock Trimark 30-1050/030-2650Hi Gjac. I'm out of town on a trucking job so give me to the weekend hopefully I remember and I'll give it a shotRe: 6 liter V8 Chevy Vortec questionAs a GM guy the biggest thing on any of LS base motors is to get the computer reprogrammed and get rid of the torque management. You'll be like why the heck wasn't this done from the factory in the first place.H ad a 6L and a 3/4 ton you put your foot into it and get the 4,000 RPMs and watch the motor pull timing and drop RPMs plus and it shifted kind of soft. Trust me look it up on the GM forms you'll see that reprogramming the computer is the best thing since sliced bread on those things, especially turning off the displacement on demand that doesn't do anything but ruin a motor
