Also great pictures.Re: Battery chargerI never said that I didn't like the answers I was getting. The first answer I got was negative about me even posting the question. The last is somewhat the same. Why the negative replys. Everything that has been said is very helpful. I will probably go with the 2 6 volt when the 12's are gone. Like what my dear old Dad always told me if you have nothing good to say keep my mouth shut. I was just looking for a little help.Re: Battery chargerPD4000 seriesBattery chargerHave a Lance 2016 995 TC. Wanting to add a stand alone battery charger. It came with 2 group 24 batteries which I may change to group 27's when the time comes. I know that the converter is not the best for fast charging. I don't want to run the on board generator long enough to charge the batteries. I have a Honda 1000 generator that I will bring along for the purpose of charging the boat batteries along with the camper batteries when needed. I want a good charger that will help the batteries last. I do have solar and am not wanting to add any more. No problem carrying the Honda or gas. If needed I also have a Honda 2000, Any thoughts. Any other place I should post this question thankscircuit breakerInstalling a new Lance camper plug on a new pickup. Lance plug is 8 gauge wire, what size circuit breaker do I use with the 8 gauge wire. The 40 amp I looked at called for 10 gauge wire. Any reason to run 6 gauge from the battery back to the plug, all wires after the plug are 8 gauge? The plug will be mounted in the front of the bed for the shortest wire run. The new truck has the 220amp alternator. I plan on running the refer on 12 volt when traveling, understanding that I can't run it but a short time when the truck is not running. Camper is a 2016 Lance 995, truck is a 2016 Ram Laramie 3500 Cummins.
