Replacement track for side sliding window
Hello! I am looking for replacement channel for my side slide window. The channel measures 3/16 on the flat bottom part and 1/8 for the window to keep it snug. Most of the channel has broken away from being so brittle, leaving my window to rattle loudly even at slow speeds. I'm having trouble finding this size. I have found a few with a wider widow channel measurement, which may not keep it from rattling. I'm looking at buying a 1972 Revcon 250 and am trying to read everything I can about its reliability or what to look for with the mechanics. Ideally, the Revcon will take me across country and back to California without breaking down or dying all together. This would be my first RV so this group seems like a good place to start. Can you give me suggestions on what to look for, what to be aware of, or tell me if it's nuts to think a 43 year old RV will make it across country?
