Bluetooth Dashboard speaker
We drive a 2004 Fleetwood Southwind gasser, and although the engine noise is usually not a bother, it is when we want to listen to music or podcasts while driving. We’ve tried our little Paperback-size Bose on the dash, but it’s just not powerful enough. Has anyone tried a more powerful Bluetooth speaker on the dash or on a table over the doghouse when driving? Does anyone have experience with the ShorePower Automatic Generator Start System? According to the manufacturer, this add-on device will monitor shore power, and automatically start your generator if the power goes out for any reason. As pet owners it would be nice to know that our dogs won't lose AC if there's a power failure when we're away from the campground. But I can't find any reviews, and I'm reluctant to spend the money unless I'm fairly sure that the system would work! My wife and I are headed toward Big Bend National Park next week, and all of the reservable sites are taken at the Rio Grande Village campground. However, the majority of campsites in the park are not reservable. Has anyone tried to get one of the non-reservable sites in the park around this time of year? How good are our chances of finding a site? Any tips on when to arrive to have the best chance? It's fixed - and as is often the case, it was a combination of causes. 1) The Thermal Cut off was blown, and correctly replaced. I confirmed this by bleeding some water out of the blow valve which was indeed quite hot. But... 2) The valves to the outside shower were open, but the trigger was closed. So, hot and cold water were mixing. So, I shut the valves outside. But... 3) By now I'd moved the bypass valve so many times that it had ended up in the bypass position again. So, I flipped the valve, and.. HOT WATER! Thanks everyone. Between this forum and watching an RV Geeks video, ya'll saved me some money, and made it possible for me to smell sweet as a rose again after a good hot shower! I accidentally turned on our Atwood Electric/Gas water heater while it was empty, and blew the Thermal Cut Off. It wouldn't heat up using electric or gas. I bought a replacement kit at Camping Word and replaced the part. The heater fired up immediately, but the water only gets lukewarm. Any ideas of what might still be wrong? This morning I tried to use the built in Santi Flush black tank flushing system, which has worked in the past. Today it seems to be blocked and water will not flow through the system at all. Yes, the black tank drain valve was open. I've heard some people say that there's a check valve somewhere that can get jammed. Can anyone tell me where to look for it on my coach, and what it will look like if I find it? Any other suggestions as to why the water won't flow into the black tank from the hose?
