2004 Fleetwood Southwind 32vs workhorse
Good day, We are looking at a 2004 Fleetwood Southwind 32vs workhorse and would like to hear from the forum any concerns or comments when considering the purchase of a 2004. Not sure of the mileage yet. Only have a few pictures from the RV mechanic. Well taken care of. This would be our third RV, our first MH, an upgrade from our current travel trailer. Thank you. Considering a retirement upgrade from our TT to the Class A. We're not full timers just weekenders, national and state park adventurers. Lots of mountains where we travel. Thank you for your feedback. We have a 2004 Dodge Diesel Quad cab Cummins 5 speed manual transmission. 100K miles. In great condition. DH has customized the truck, lots of compliments. Due to health issues we are looking into converting to automatic transmission. DH would like to have an Allison transmission installed. My question, are you aware if this is possible? Several diesel shops in our area have stated the computer system in the Dodge is not computer savey with the Allison. Your thoughts. Highway 36 is out of Red Bluff. I would check the Caltrans website for current road construction projects, and Cal Fire for current fires in the areas. It predominately a two lane mountainous highway, many big rigs, logging vehicles traverse Highway 36. If I remember correctly it is the southern entrance to Lassen National Park. Worth a visit. Good day, Our Sunnybrook is a 2010 and recently was diagnosed to have issues with the oven remaining lit. Our RV mechanic diagnosed the problem, contacted the manufacturer and was told the manufacture no longer manufacturers the current stove/oven and he is not able to get parts. So now we are in a dilemma, purchase a new stove/oven $600.00 plus shipping, tax and installation or I thought about a convection counter top oven. The TT is at the mechanic so I do not have the manufacture's name of the stove top/oven combo. My question is I looked at a counter top convection oven for a 30 amp, 2000 watt generator will a 1300 watt convection oven trip my breakers? Just checking the rig for the season. Re-fridge will not turn on either electric or gas.Power to the source not a problem. The electric hooked up to TT, AC working, all electric outlets working, No ammonia smell, no mice in re-fridge components area, when trying to turn on even the light in the fridge does not come on?
