Satellite Dish Wiring Idea
Hello, I know that this topic has been covered, I wanted to run my idea past someone to see if I am in cloud 9 or if my Idea will work. I have a Coachmen Clipper (Small I know), It has a cable hookup outside but nothing for Satellite. I don't feel like changing the cable hookup so I came up with the idea of putting a faceplate on the side of the bed by the door and run a cable to the receiver on the counter, then in the pass through storage run a coax cable from the faceplate to the opposite side of the camper. Then I would add a connector to that cable to allow me to hookup the satellite dish. Is that to many cables? any input would be helpful.1.1KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Camping Website/App
To answer some of the questions.. YES I understand that there are apps/websites out there that currently do alot of things. But there is not one CATCHALL sites. What I envision is a website that would have standard information, but then allow the guests/users to submit data related to the campground, It would not just be about campgrounds the user could submit useful information about truck stops have have RV water, Propane across the country and so on.. Hello, Let me introduce myself. I am a software developer based out of the lovely state of Iowa. I enjoy camping on the weekends and such while working a full time job. I have had this idea bouncing around in my head for the last couple of months about developing a website that would house many different aspects of camping... Such as camper info, campsites and so on.. I really don't know what all I would like the website to do... Would anyone one be interested in an website that is all about you and camping? Hello, I know that is topic has been covered before. But I would like some direct input. I have a 2015 coachmen clipper 17BH, It came with an Exterior HDTV cable hookup. I am looking into getting an satellite dish for it. I was wondering what the best method would be to hook it up? I do not feel comfortable making another hole in the exterior of the camper. I have a Coachmen Clipper 17BH that I am looking to put a battery shut off on. I use it on weekends during the summer and not able to keep it at home. I know I need to put it on the positive wire and also aware that I need to make sure the switch is on while towing it. I only use the battery to run the fridge before I go out to the campsite, don't try camp or anything like that. I was wondering if this switch would work?
