We saw that train wreck coming and moved close to the road with MH wheels on boards on Friday. Otherwise, we'd still be there! Lol. Our first MO Rally and a great time.Re: Owners opinions, please. Thanks all. I think we are getting the Thor Challenger TL. Wish it had bigger holding tanks and a different frig but nothing is 100%. Going from Jayco, which has been very reliable but doesn't make an 'A' we like, to Thor, which is (supposedly) much improved, is a bit scary. Well, life's an adventure, right? Will post some reviews later to either encourage or warn prospective buyers.Re: Middle light and both side lights flashing on leveler systemDon't know if it's the same situation but recently my Big Foot system wasn't responding to any commands (auto or manual) and various lights were flashing. Called the company and they said sometime a power fluctuation can cause that and I needed to (basically) reboot the system. Took the front plate off, unplugged it, counted to 10, plugged it back in and, TaDa, it worked!Re: McDonald Observatory Western TexasTry to make a Star Party. Be sure to take a jacket. We went in August and it was COLD at night. When we told our (then) 4 yr. old we were going to the McDonald Observatory she thought about it then asked, "Is that where we see them make hamburgers?" Sort of proud she new what "observe" meant. LolRe: Moving On UpJust saw that floor plan at Motor Home Specialists, very impressive when you enter the coach with nice finishes and great kitchen. Hope you enjoy it in good health for many years to come.Owners opinions, please. We are going to trade our "C" for an "A". DH does not want a diesel. We really like the floor plans offered by Thor, especially the 36TL Challenger. We hope to 'most time' for 2-3 years. I have read some negative opinions about Thor products, but they rarely came from owners. Would love to hear from Thor owners, especially if you own, or have owned, a Challenger. Thank you!Re: tire issues on the?Thank you for feedback. DH won't budge, so I guess it will be a regular 5th wheel if we make a change.New 5th wheel?Well, we've narrowed it down to Cardinal, Cedar Creek and Trilogy (a little nervous about that one). If we can ever work up steam enough to empty the S&B we may even full-time. Looking at (mostly) the front bath models. So, whatcha think? Yeas, nays? Thanks for feedback.Re: Dynamax, TrilogyThat's interesting to hear. We are looking to trade our TT for a 5th wheel that we may end up full-timing in. We've narrowed it down to a Cedar Creek, the front bath Cardinal or the front bath Trilogy. REALLY like the Trilogy but were concerned about them not being made anymore. So, you think we shouldn't be concerned with future warranty work, parts, etc.?tire issues on the?Would appreciate folks who have dealt with this issue weighing in. I would like to look at toy haulers for possible full-time. Love the extra room/screened room/storage. My DH says "no". His problem? Loves everything about them but the size we'd be considering would have 3 axles. He thinks that would be a problem with the middle tire pivoting instead of going straight forward or backward. Tires aren't made to go sideways. Comments?
