Re: new belts on diesel motor squeaking
My experience has been that the belt that is recommended for this application will not fit if it is a notched belt..The belt must be inverted in order to fit over the crank pulley..That is why someone will try using a longer belt.But the longer belt cant be adjusted to the right tension.

If the directional light bulb is in the same housing as the headlight bulb you could have a ground problem.

If you have the main engine running ,it should provide enough electric to start the generator.Once it the generator starts you can shut off the engine.Don't know about your short.good luck

If you have full size hubcaps on your unit,I would try taking them off and run the RV without them and see if the noise goes away...Just a guess!!!

On some Fords they use a compression pin as a guide for the rims. Is it possible that the pin was not aligned when the tires were changed?
