The new planner doesn't work and when I contact Good Sam for help they say use the old one. Not what I expected.Mail Forwarding DelayWe have been rving for ten years. We have our mail forwarded to a service. At first the post office was very efficient at getting our mail to the service. It seems that they get slower each year. We pay what we can online but we are now getting some bills a week after they are due. Are other people experiencing the same problem or is it just our post office.Re: Blue Ox Order FulfilmentThe order was drop shipped directly from Blue Ox. They called me today, Wed, over a week later, to tell me they didn't have the parts. Two carriage bolts, a knob and some material to protect the bike. They are shipping the part air freight but we are leaving tomorrow morning. I am going to have to buy some part and cobble it together. I plan on sending them a bill for the parts and my time and gas. We will see what happens. They did not offer any consideration for my inconvenience. Since the package came without the hardware I think they knew they were out of material back when it was sent.Re: Blue Ox Order FulfilmentOne item had the shipping label mixed with the invoiced item so I got someone else's item. Second item was a bike rack that was out of stock, and then I wasn't notified. Third item came without the mounting bolts. Fourth item it the package of bolts with they promised to expedite a week ago. I know that stuff happens, that's why I am wondering.Blue Ox Order FulfilmentRecently I have received( or hope to) four orders from Blue Ox. Each was messed up in a different way. Am I the only one encountering a problem. I have been a fan of their's but I am having second thoughts.Re: Are You A GeoCacher?Million dollar satellites to find tupperware in the woods. A great addition to activities you can do while travelling. Worth looking into.Re: Buying a New MotorhomeOne thing to keep in mind is how far away you are for service. Do you have someone close who can/will do warrany service on units they didn't sell. How often are you willing to make the trip especially in the winter. When you go to pick up the new unit will you be prepared to take your old unit back home if the unit or the walk through is not satisfactory when you pick it up. We only have had two units. The first was from a small dealer close to us. Problem is he didn't have anything we wanted the second time. Went about a hundred miles away for the second one from a big national dealer. Would not to that again. Next time we would go South and plan on making the dealer hold up their end.Re: 2014 Great Lakes trip suggestionsWe really enjoyed the Door Peninsula and Green Bay. We visited three National Park sites, Isle Royale, Pictured Rocks, Sleeping Bear Dunes The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn. It has been a long time but the Maid of the Mist in Niagra Falls is a great perspective.Re: Florida Rv Parks in WinterWe are currently in a park south of Daytona. If you want a month without moving you probably need a reservation. There are about two or three sites open each night. For the next month during race week and bike week the will be no openings and we will have to move to the west coach for a month. National Parks and state parks need reservations.
