You might need to open a drawer or open a cabinet or open an inside storage area to reach behind the water heater. You might need a new thermostat which can be replaced on the outside of the water heater. The thermostat looks like two metal buttons usually one on top of the other.Re: Starter / battery issuessimplest first - check that battery connections are tight. If you can move them, they are too loose.Re: Looking at class c questions on maintenanceDepends on the dealer. The ford dealer in my town will not do any kind of work on RV's including tires. Check with your local dealer.Re: 2004 Tioga 23E water pumpUsually the water pump is next to the fresh water tank. Maybe under a dinette seat or couch.Re: Roadside AssistanceQuestion to moderator - Why was this moved from Class C forum? More people would have seen it there. Follow up info -Towing company came after dark and did not have a jack large enough to lift the motorhome, They will be back this morning as I have to leave by 11 AMRoadside AssistanceLet me tell you my experience today with Good Sam Roadside Assistance. I am at a campground and noticed my rear outside dual was low on air. When I pushed in on it - it was flat. Could not tell because inside tire was holding it up. called Good Sam and gave all my info and told I would texted when someone was coming. This wasings at 1;00 PM. Got a text that that they were still looking and someone would be there shortly. Shortly did not come-called them back an hour later and was told someone would be there in 15 minutes. An hour and a half later I called back and put on hold for 15 minutes and was disconnected. Call came saying a company would be there by 3:30. At 5:00 I called back got put on hold for 30 minutes then disconnected. I called back and on hold for another 20 minutes and person looked up my info and said I would be transferred to a supervisor. Supervisor came on ant transferred me to another supervisor, but he put me on hold and 29 mins.later, I was disconnected. Finally called again and demanded to speak to a supervisor. Man said he would put me on hold and I yelled don't put me on hold He said a supervsor would call me back and she did at 6:30 PM. She will call me back when she finds someone who can change the tire on a 32ft. Winnebago. I am not holding my breath, but I have to leave tomorrow. Mind you I have been a member for 33 years. Do you think I will stay a member?Roadside AssistanceThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 30251830Re: Worn suspensionThe key word in your 1st sentence is "might". If you have not experienced any noticeable change, then there probably isn't any. You can always use a tape measure on each rear corner to the ground to determine any sagging. If you have air bags in the rear suspension, then check for leaks or check that the pressure is equal in each air bag.Re: 2001 Minnie WinnieAre you sure the motors are gone or is it the actuators? I had a similar problem and it was the actuators - the motors were good. Because it is a 2004 Minnie, the actuators were no longer available. Had the motors wired directly to two new switches, which meant that both switches had to be held at the same time so both sides of the slideout were moving at the same rate. Should be done by a repair facility unless you are efficient with electrical connections and re-routing wires. Good luck.Re: Add a front cabover window - has anyone done it?I believe that you would regret the time and money to do this because all the water leaks in all my previous motorhomes came from that window.
