What is X-2 ?Class C - with ability to towExploring doing a year-long RV adventure and was hoping to get some advice on a Class C. It would be myself/wife/two medium sized dogs and our Jeep Grand Cherokee. So I need something that will not break the bank but will give us room and ability to tow. I have no RV experience - once had a travel trailer but that was the extent. I have never driven a large RV. Looking to explore the southwest during winter and northern parts off-winter. I still work (telecommunte) so most likely staying at places weeks at a time. So also curious to know if there is a website/forum, etc that points out some of the great places to stay with good wifi/amenities etc Thx -Trip to Colorado from MinnesotaNever been to Colorado and considering making a trip in few weeks. Looking to rent a drivable RV (off RV Share) and do not want to get in over my head as I have never driven anything larger than a standard pickup truck. I have two dogs (40lbs ea) so will need something with a bit more space and I do not want to travel too far or deep into Colorado but close enough to get a feel for it. Certainly no mountain/pass driving. Perhaps that will limit me forsure. Looking for suggestions of places to stay or visit that this time of year would be good, have room and maybe dog friendly (i.e. dog parks, etc). Thx.Re: Seeking advice on towing vehicleI don't know much about trucks but I found today a trailer and truck package for sale in my area: 2012 Ram 3500 4x4 dually diesel crew cab 8ft bed B&W hitch, 102k miles with 2014 Evergreen Tesla 3950 43 1/2 ft toyhauler Asking $58k for the package.Re: Seeking advice on towing vehicleThanks for sharing the details... We are not head set any given RV. We are empty nesters with two dogs and are exploring our options if we go the RV route vs. finding a cabin somewhere, etc. We would like to find something that has a space for hauling a Dirt bike or Four wheeler and doubles as a space for dogs if needed.Seeking advice on towing vehicleSeeking advice on a towing vehicle for a 5th wheel camper. I am looking at a 2019 Heartland Road Warrior 413RW I've only ever owned a small travel trailer that was 21' so my SUV was able to tow. As given, with the fifth wheel I need to upgrade to a pickup but I am not well versed in pickups. I would have to buy used and not sure what size I should look for or if I should look for it to be gas or diesel, etc. Thx.Time has come to sellThe time has come to sell our 2003 Forest River Grand Surveyor MODEL SV-210 --- however, I have no idea how to price it. Looking for suggestions to determine its value for private party sale. How to mount flat screen ??I am seeking advice by those who have done a DIY mount for your flat screen. The TV space in my camper is above the fridge. The backspace seems the most logical place to mount but it does not feel like there is any support material behind it. I could try to mount on the cabinet side but the height of the TV will not allow it to swing back due to the antenna ceiling control. This is the mount I am using -> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BCUM766 Re: Water Heater - Pilot Will Not Stay OnI was able to fire it and it seemed to work just fine... pilot held, etc.Re: Water Heater - Pilot Will Not Stay OnI installed the new control valve but it has to be tilted a bit for the gas tube to attach ... I hope that is not an issue.
