Re: Norcold refrigerator not working despite propane burning
We bought a 2005 Discovery new. It had a Norcold. Never worked. Took it back to the dealer under warranty several times. Spent money on boards etc. Got stranded several times (spoiled food). GThen I found this guy he did a custom rebuild on it for me about 8 years ago. It has worked perfect ever since. Will freeze ice cream. I hated everything about Norcold until they rebuilt. I wanted mine to be cold. I opted for the bigger fans, shrouding, icemaker delete, etc .My understanding is that for several years all the Nascar guys got this guy to upgrade their friges as soon as they bought a coach. http://www.rvcrcarolina.com/index.html678Views0likes0CommentsGMC Yukon 4 down question
I currently tow a 2005 GMC Yukon 4wd behind my 2005 Discovery. It is set up for four down with a Blue ox tow bar and we installed the MG air brake system on it years ago and it all works great. It is very easy to hook up then push the electonic button then it free wheels. Problem is the yukon is about worn out - it has 300K miles not to mention another 50K being towed - it has been to Alaska twice - just basically worn out. We want to buy a newer nicer Yukon or tahoe - my question is what years and models will work just as good as what we have??2KViews0likes6CommentsLos Angeles Area
We live in North Carolina and have never been to California. Our 15 year old son has been diagnosed with a degenerative eye condition and the only center offering the treatment he needs is in the Beverly Hills area. We are trying to decide on bringing our Discovery out or just flying out and staying in a hotel. Are their any full hookup parks in the are? Also if anyone has any info on a safe comfortable place for a family of four to stay in the area I would appreciate that info too.4.2KViews0likes22Comments
