The plan is to head north to Flagstaff, then take US 89 thru Page, come out in Kanab Utah. If we don't go this way, we'll have to head west and go thru Vegas, which will add some trip time for sure. Our son has a fifth wheel, said US 89 was horrible a couple of years back and stuff got thrown all over the inside while they were driving the road. I'm thinking in a larger motorhome like we have, that might not be as much of an issue as the son had with a tow vehicle. I suppose I could do a 511 call but I thought I'd ask those of you who may have taken US 89 from Arizona into Utah recently and see what you have to say.Re: Triple A versus Good SamThanks to all for your input. My next step will be to see what my current insurance coverage provides.Triple A versus Good SamOk, so I am looking at the renewal notices for Good Sam Roadside Assistance $60, and another renewal notice for Good Sam Travel Assist, another $60. I really wish these two products could be combined somehow, but that's up to Good Sam. My question is more related to price comparison. Good Sam provides a price comparison chart for both Travel Assist and Roadside Assist. I'm curious about the column 'Other'....does that include Triple A by any chance? What does Good Sam offer that Triple A doesn't? What does Triple A offer that Good Same doesn't? Thanks in advance for your assistance.Windshield Cover for new Rig!Got my beautiful Thor 2016 Four Winds on a F-550 Super duty chassis and cannot find a windshield cover for it..... Anybody know where I can get one? I've looked everywhere, and I understand ADCO does not make the cover for the F550.Re: First Road Trip in our Thor Super CActually, we planned on taking a short trip to a state or county park next month to identify/get rid of any bugs we might find along the way. Just for a long weekend or the like. Also plan on spending some time next weekend just running the various things inside/outside to make sure we understand how things work. Plus I have to put all the stuff from my old RV into the new one! The Thor is bigger, but for the life of me I can't figure out how I got so much STUFF in a smaller rig!First Road Trip in our Thor Super CDriving from Phoenix to Anoka, MN in May. I've used the Trip Planner and it seems fine, but I guess my issue is that I wanted as direct a route as possible without leaving interstate. Plan on driving about 6-7 hours per day, hopefully covering between 350-420 miles per day. Phoenix to Albuquerque, Albuquerque to Amarillo seem pretty straightforward, but I want to head north from Amarillo and it looks like just state highways. Anyone been north of Amarillo and know what the roads are like? Also, if anyone has any words of wisdom for first time road trippers, I would be very appreciative. Thanks in advance!Just bought the Four Winds 35SF Super CSupposed to pick it up in the next few days. Only one thing right now I REALLY don't like about the interior. There are these pictures on two of the walls, and I want them gone. I tried to see if they were just hung there with picture hangers for saleability, but it felt like they were fixed to the wall itself. They're really ugly and I would like to remove them, but I have no idea what I'll find underneath! Anyone have experience with something like this?Re: Towing a small sports car behind a Class CNew to the RV world, loving it, but I'm a little concerned about what the right tow vehicle is for my Greyhawk Class C. Hubby drives a stick, I never have. Is there such a beast with an automatic tranny that can be towed 4 down behind my RV?
