Parkersburg,WV back to Sacramento,Ca
Leaving 10/15 to Sacramento driving our Damon Escaper Diesel Motorhome towing a 2009 Honda CRV. Any recommendations for the best route and weather that we may encounter? Any suggestions where to stay over the night would really be appreciated. We will be traveling with our 3 month old granson. We made it to our first stop here in west Wendover for an overnight in the casino parking lot. Will hopefully make it to Cheyenne tomorrow. Not sure where we will stay overnight because their annual western days and rodeo that starts on Wednesday. The wife would like to be closer to the daughter. We have been in contact with Blennerhasett RV Park in Belpre,Ohio for possible a spot there. Can you make and comments on that cg? Wolf Run State Park sounds really nice, maybe after the baby is born we could try that. We would really like full hookups during our stay. We are planning our first trip back east to visit our youngest daughter who will be having her first child and our first grandchild. This will be the farthest we have driven our 2000 DP with the 8.3 300hp Cummings. Since her baby will be due the end of August the trip to Parkersburg will be a get there as soon as possible kind of trip. We are planning 4-5 days to make the 2500 miles. For anyone that might have driven this route does this seem to be a reasonable time frame? We would really appreciate any suggestions with the best routes and what to expect with any steep upgrades/downgrades that we will encounter.
