When parked/ stored it will move out the whole way over 2 days. It does have hydraulic motors if that helps. Any more help? Who would fix it?Rotating tires and checking the brakesHi Gang...I have an 08 Forest river Georgetown 357 QS with 75,000 miles. Tires are almost 2 yrs with almost 30,000 miles. Most miles are highway miles. Do these rigs require tires (Mich 235) to be rotated and how? It also seems like it is getting harder to stop. Is rotating tires needed? Who does brakes? Truck shop, brake shop or RV repair? What to do and what not to do.Time to replace windshield /side curtainsMy 2008 Forest River Georgetown needs new privacy curtains. They have loops at the top to connect to hooks hanging from a track that goes along the side and front of the coach. I have looked all over and need some suggestions. The curtains themselves are OK but the majority of the loops have worn through. Ideas and suggestions, please.Re: Side windows are fogged up RustyMacIntosh wrote: The Bounder that was gifted to me sat for a long time in a storage lot. The insides of the double pane windows on both driver and passenger side has what looks to be like alkaline stains. It is hard to see out of, even worse when the sun is in your mirror. I was thinking maybe just have both sides pulled and replaced. That is what I am doing. But since i don't go out in real cold weather I might go with the single thicker pane. Fortunately there is auto glass shop here with this experience and a tech manager that has been very helpful. I am going with the voice of experience, so won't do this on my own.Re: Hearing problem need wireless mic and ear pieceI am getting my aids on line with Bluetooth for around $1600 for the pair. I take the test on line with headphone on and they program them for me. This whole thread is interesting and i have gotten alot of info. My sweety said there are 2 things that really bug her about me. That I don't listen to her, and some other sh!t she was rambling on about.....Re: Hearing problem need wireless mic and ear piecenot for cell phones. Bluetooth is a good idea. No helmets....unless she is driving....nevermind. Helmets wont help....Hearing problem need wireless mic and ear pieceI am sure NONE of you older gents identify with this...LOL. In my motorhome or car, the decible reading is about 60 to 70 and i CANNOT understand my partner sitting 5 feet away. I have seen this device on motorcycle couples who talk to each other-a mic and earpiece. Anybody else got it or need it ? LOL! What is it and where do i get it? Yes i wear hearing aids which only amplify the road and wind noise. Please save my relationship with my sweetie before she runs off with some younger dude in a diesel pusher with a National Parks Pass! :)Re: Side windows are fogged upCan I remove 1 of the glass panes and just have one? I do not go out in cold weather.Side windows are fogged upHi all. I have a 2008 Georgetown Class A and the drivers side and the passenger side windows have fogged up to the point to where it is difficult and dangerous to see out the side mirrors. I was originally told it was the tint on the windows that went bad. My RV tech says it is the inside of the windows between the double panes. The replacement is $1400 for the 2 sides (4 windows). Any explanation or other ideas? Is it the tint or the panes?Re: Slide moving outOK... This is real crazy and does point to hydraulics. I was using the automatic levelers and as it was leveling itself, the main slide started moving out from closed position. Does an RV guy fix this hydraulic problem or go to a truck repair shop?
