Tow Car auto insurance
So, wife and I have been traveling in our MH now for two years full-time. Just notified by our car insurance company that because we do not own a home we can not insure our car..I don't really understand this since people out there don't own homes and only rent. Smelling a slight burn-off from diesel fumes after servicing. Started thinking I might need to check our Carbon Monoxide detector BUT I can't locate it. So, weather is turning and our area is expecting temps for the next three days to dip into the low 30's / upper 20's. We are not weatherized so I am thinking in order to keep water line from freezing is to allow water to lightly run in the sink overnight. So not to worry about overfilling the grey tank I plan to open the release valve the night before and drain the tank. Then any water that goes to that tank will empty into the septic tank.... The rest of the motorhome should remain protected as we have an basement heating vents which we will keep open. Appreciate your thoughts,2KViews0likes8CommentsRe: Air-conditioner availability
So, after waiting for over a year for a replacement of my Domestic air conditioner I decided to try another approach. Just start looking for a different brand. Well, after finding what I think is a perfect replacement now the shop is telling me that the replacement MUST be the same brand/model in order to be controlled at my intelligence box inside my coach. Really, I would have assumed that different brands would offer connectors/wiring for most any brand. Any clarification would be appreciated. Air-conditioner availability I have been waiting for over a year now, and working through two different RV repair companies to get a new Dometic air conditioner for our 2015 42QD but with no luck. Are these guys pulling my leg or just hard to locate. I still see advertisers, such as Camping World offering them on a regular basis.But, you call them and they want to place you on a waiting list. So DW and I are concerned over what happened this morning in our Itasca Ellipse 42QD. Our unit has 1-1/2 baths with the half bath having its our commode and wash basin. The sensors on both our black and grey water tanks are questionable so we always have a little concern about our water levels.Today, when I flushed the commode in the 1/2 bath, the tank evidently being full the water backed up into the 1/2 bath water basin. Black water backed up in what I assumed was a grey water basin.. I thought both black and grey were closed systems so how could black water get into grey system??4.2KViews0likes11Comments
