After reading about the benefits of installing Softstarts I'm seriously considering doing it in the spring. Our MH is a 2024 so our warranty goes to Aug 2024. My question is because it's a user installed item would it void the AC warranty?TIA

I wouldn't plug in without one. Get an EMS as they provide more protection than just a surge protector. Progressive Industries and Hughes Power Watchdog are both I would consider.
