Slide Controller override switch replace?
The rubber / plastic button actuator on my Schwintek / Lippert slide controller was knocked off. I want to replace the switch indicated by the red circle. Has anybody done this? What switch did you use? I found one on Amazon that looks the same and is about the right size 6x6x5mm. I don't want to spend 100s on a new controller because this one works except for the button.
Toyhauler fuel tanks
Can anyone send some pictures of how the fuel station and generator tanks are mounted? I bought a 2007 387 skyline and it had no tanks. I couldn’t find anything on how they are supposed to be mounted so I connected the sensors to them and they marked empty when the sensor was upside down so I had thought I had figured it out that way. So there I go installing the tanks and I welded some brackets.. etc and after everything I was still unsure because I figured If the tanks are filled from the bottom the gasoline is going to have to be pressurized to fill up! I didn’t see how it could have been filled from the top since there are no holes in the frame and didn’t want to make one since it can weaken the frame. But if that’s how everyone else’s is I’ll make some holes and reroute the filler neck! If you have any pictures from a 2007 skyline that’ll be great or any other trailer cool too!
US Gear Tow Brake Issues
I have a US Gear Unified Tow brake system that has a bad control module and I understand that they are no longer producing this unit or parts for it. I found a unit out of Florida on e-bay and bought it but it also has a bad module. I love this system and have been using it on various toads for at least 20 years. My question is, does anyone have one just laying around that I could buy , or does anyone know the manufacturer of the circuit board. I'm desperate to find a working controller. Thanks so much!
Domestic single zone thermostat
I am having issues with the furnace. I took the furnace out, tested all the components then crossed the thermostat wires and it fired right up. I put the unit back in hooked it up electrically. I adjusted the thermostat to desired temperature and it kicked on but shut down after about 30 seconds. I took the cover off the thermostat. I turn it off then back on readjusted the unit to desired temperature and it worked. I put the cover back on and it quit working. I took the cover back off and tried it again and it worked for 1 cycle. Now sometimes when I try to adjust it the heat display isn’t there. Now it’s not working at all except for the initial blower then kicks back off. I’ve done some searching and some say replace the whole thermostat and others say just replace the cover. I got a cover from another unit but it’s still not working. It’s only a year old and I’m not sure I want to replace it with the same thermostat after reading the reviews. What is a reasonable alternative to this thermostat.
Question about Freedom 458 Inverter
Hi, I have a 2003 Allegro Bus 35IP. It has the Xantrex 458 Charger/Inverter option. I may need to replace the Xantrex and I am trying to figure out some of the factory wiring, specifically regarding the output from the inverter. There appear to be 2 AC circuits (2 20 AMP romex wires) coming out of the Xantrex inverter. I cannot determine where these are fused or how they tie into the primary 120v system. The main 120v Fuse panel has no current through it when the inverter is on (makes sense as to not backfeed the inverter) - yet all the branches work and have power. So really I have two questions: Are there fuses for the 2 output circuts from the inverter, if so where are they located? How does the inverter outputs tie into the 120v system without energizing the main 120v fuse panel?
2002 Alfa See ya #70749 no power to coach from shore power.
2002 Alfa see ya 70749 my transfer switch shore power side went bad so I manually hold the shore side button down and get power in and out the breaker box but no power to coach but if I power on generator it works same power to breaker and out what can cause this?
Upgraded and relocated analog to digital thermostat was working and Now not working.
I was putting the wires back into the wall wire nut it everything and it just stopped working the lights went Out on it no more numbers tried to find a reset I'm going to test the wiring and see if it's still hot but it was a little while ago
