- KCFDCaptExplorerI pull my 36" 5r through there several times a year. For the most part it is good road. There are a few steep and winding parts. Slow going with 35 MPH curve signs. Pullouts are poorly placed in both directions, on steep sections of road.
It is only 17 miles of driving so it is soon passed and the enjoyment of the coastal views replace any misgivings of the drive. - Just_LeeExplorerThanks..... We have been up Highway 1 from Santa Rosa all the way to the redwoods so it sounds like 41 is very doable..... Especially being that we are a lot smaller then you... LoL
Thanks again - BTPO1ExplorerWe have been through there towing with our 27' with no problems. JMO
- JohnG3Explorer IIFrequently use it pulling our 38' 5er. Big rigs pulling doubles use it daily. Just stay away from 41 north from 101 to 46.
- revumpExplorerI usually drive 166 but I have heard that it is fine
- Just_LeeExplorerThank you all for your insite
- shakyjayExplorer III have driven it many times with the trailer in my signature. Not a bad drive at all.
