A great weekend at Maple Grove on Cowichan Lake
The weather was perfect. The campfire ban lifted and the lake warm.
It was a great weekend away.
Unfortunately the house batteries decided that 7 years is enough and would not hold a charge for more than 3-4 hours.
Luckily our friends and camping neighbours hooked me up to their genny each time they ran it, so we made it through. Did leave a day early as they were leaving too and we could not make it with out the genny.
The genny is a Champion from Costco 2000W and nice and quiet. Less than $600.00 Canadian. It may be on my shopping list after I buy new batteries.
