Best Quickest Route Waco to Springfield MO
Any way to miss I35 thru Dallas. Other suggestions appreciated. The scenic route can wait for another journey, just need quick this time.

Can't say for quicker, but next time when that is not such an important factor:
Scoot over to Athens on TX 31, then up to Paris on TX 19/24.
At Paris join US 271/270 to Poteau, OK, around the bypass to OK 112 which heads straight into I 540 at Fort Smith, then I 49 to Joplin and I 44 on into Springfield.
For me, pulling a 34' fifth-wheel, this might be just a quick since I don't drive at full freeway speed anyway.
Anyway, this is just an alternate to be aware of.
