Do the same as done for the vents in RVs using a piece of foam covered with cloth material. It just pushes into place and stays there until you pull it back out.
We made one our self to cover the bath skylight and it works well and keeps the cold and heat out too when needed.
Now if I can just come up with something to block out the light for the window in the entry door. Oh well that another post.
