Bryce Canyon over to I-5 North

Going to be in Bryce Canyon mid Sept, would like to leave there and return home(British Columbia) via I-5.Considering going thru Ely and over to Reno and on up to Redding?Looks like alot of mountain passes,is there an easier way to acomplish this? Travelling in a 42 ft.DP with toad.
Thanks

  • If it were me, I would take US 395 north from Reno and skip Redding. You can head over to I5 at Lakeview, Or. or just continue north to the Columbia River to cut over. I would look to avoid both Portland and Seattle and just stay on 395.
  • If you want interstates, from Bryce take 89 N from Panguitch to Hwy 20 west to I-15. Take I-15 north to I-84 into Idaho and pick up I-82 to I-90 to I-5 in Washington. No biggies on this route. Not much traffic other than Salt Lake City, Utah and Boise, Idaho and then around Seattle area. Have a good trip!
