Restrictions are for motorhomes over 40 feet between San Simeon and Carmel.
Am interested on this and your info benefited me too as I'm planning to take that route again from Monterey to SoCall this first week of June.
We took a ride in our car north from Morro Bay yesterday and were shocked to see RV's heading north of San Simeon on 1. Crazy!
I had my practice.. I've done scarier. It's 120 and Tioga at Yosemite. The unguarded double ravine at Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe.
And most dangerous, I think, no ravines but fully loaded double trailers logging trucks along 101 in Washington barreling downhill at 70mph and overtaking me with my RV, lol.
