diesel fuel stops

In downtown Crescent City there is a Safeway with a large gas/diesel station away from the store and convenient to 101 at 5th street. The lanes are at an angle so there is easy access and no tight turns are needed. At 63 ft towing this was a nice find. Enjoy the trip.

Had the "Trucker" app for a while. Had lots of places that were usable for RVers with large equipment. App had filters that allowed you to find only diesel or whatever you needed.

HI All: thanks to all that gave information on diesel fuel stop on RT20 and Highway 101 in California. Now we can enjoy the Red woods of northern Ca. on a full tank of fuel. I am now headed to the local walmart to stock up on DEF for the diesel truck/ Jim2007

We've found that Gas Buddy doesn't have ALL the stations.

Drive on the top half of your tank then you'll have room to play around with especially for good access with the RV.

Diesel is everywhere. And that is so along that route. DEF can be found at most places that sell diesel, wal mart and others...

There is no problem.

As you well know, these days there is a gas station in virtually every town, village, or intersection in this country. Well over half of them have diesel, in my experience.
Whether you like the access they provide, is another matter.

Regardless, don't get into the bottom quarter of tank capacity. That's the time when you'll have trouble finding a station!

And if you don't happen to have an iPad or Android phone, you can use this Fuel Stops during your trip planning stage.

X2 - We do both. I use Gas Buddy on my iPad as the right-side passenger, and it's easy to find best price and easiest on-off, map & directions available. Best free app ever.
