Franklin, NC to Lake Toxaway, Highway 64
Anyone have experience on US 64 from Franklin to Lake Toxaway in the North Carolina mountains? I will be driving a 40 foot DP pulling a Jeep Liberty. Planning this trip in mid September.

I think I was probably sitting back there in three miles of traffic while the tractor trailer backed up so that you could enjoy this beautiful drive. Or maybe that was the time a big RV ran off the shoulder and we all waited for hours for a big tow rig to come. It is lovely up here. Enjoy. lizzie
