Great Places to stay South of San Felipe

I would like to hear some recommendations from folks who have been there recently of some good places to stay SOUTH of San Felipe.

Also does anyone have any experience at VILLA MARINA RV park IN San Felipe?

Name your favorites and tell me why. But please try to give me a "feel" for the place. Shady, Friendly, Crowded, noisy...you get the idea. I am interested in your critique of the good and bad.

I am headed south in two months and want to spend some time in Baja. (I have been before but many years ago)

The places I am looking at are: Punta Estrella, Bahia Santa Maria, the area around Playa Agua Azul de Acapulco and Puertocitos.

Those of you who want only to post why I should NOT go. Please don't just move on to another topic.

Thanks in advance

  • We stay at Villa Marina for the winter, have a space leased there. The spaces are close and tight. They do have metal covers which will be good this time of year. Beach access is right there. There should be space available this time of year. The only time it gets noisy is holiday weekends. Full hookups.

Are you considering Bahia de Los Angeles?

Well mostly I wanted to stay on the San Felipe to Puertocitos road. But Who knows I may end up going farther south.

So Yes let me know if you have a good suggestion...I may go just to check it out....
