I-70 west to I-25..at colorado springs.
From I-70 west ,is 287/24 at Limon a good route south west toward I- 25 at Colorado springs? Thanks any info.

It will save you a lot of Denver area traffic and possible heavy tolls. The last time I drove that route, the road was getting some potholes (like all Colorado roads) but otherwise is a pleasant drive.
