I95 Southbound in SC closed

Question

Southbound closed at MM28 with backup starting at MM39. Road is flooded from rain generated by TS Bonnie. No word on when it opens as the water level is basically holding steady due to additional rain in the area. My guessing is it will be closed until tomorrow morning.

North bound was closed but is currently open. However, the water is close to the road so wouldn't take much rise to be closed again.

I'm SO glad I'm not stuck in that!  SC has been hit pretty hard with some rain over the last year.

Opened back up in the wee hours of the morning so traffic should be flowing freely by now.  Rain is almost gone so don't expect any more problems.

Part of US17 adjacent still closed near mile marker 21 in downtown Ridgeland. All major roads back open, a few county roads wiped out.
Over a foot or rain in Jasper county. All of the rain made high-tide yesterday afternoon pretty exceptional.
The sun is shining today and highs in the 80's, will be on the water in the kayaks this afternoon hoping to see dolphins. At least the 3 day weekend is not all lost.
