As of now, the Trans Labrador Highway going past Wabush is closed because of a Forest Fire.

Re. the report above, my comment is drive slow. When I drove it in 2006 the speed limit was 70 km/ph. I was happier driving between 40 & 50 km, because then I could cope with anything that hadn't been graded recently. & as I've said many times, always check with locals.
