Looking for No-Tell motel

The one I gave co-ordnates for was reasonable, had inside parking and the rooms were clean and the bed comfy. I would highy recommend it, easily the best motel room I have ever seen in Mexico.

We stayed at the hotel Las Palmas in Matehuala a month ago, 1100.00 pesos for the RV and a room, we showered in the room I really did not want to use water and contaminate the potable water from the States for coffee in the morning since we had no room for jugs of water, wife loaded the RV with gifts for family and friends.

Las Palmas has gotten very expensive. The last stay we met a group of rvers heading home so we drove in our car and rented a room. The rv spot is up to 400 pesos a night.

Across the street is the Oasis, and it is much cheaper and also allows rvs. For what it's worth I stayed there with the rv four weeks ago.

What the @#$/\&! Is wrong with a HOTEL FAMILIAR?

I've been forced to stay in a hotel conquistador a few times when other placed were completo. Yeah Great. All the sound effects of a tribe of chimpanzees during mating season. The ones that the next door beds keep slapping the wall are the best.

There is a good "motel" in Matehuala, name is Las Palmas Midway In, nice clean and reasonable, with breakfast the next morning, it also has space for RV's, we stay there on our trips, both with the RV and with out it.

Thanks everyone... we've made the trip from Laredo to La Penita for the past eight years and always stayed at La Palmas hotel with our motorhome. This year will be different staying at No-Tells

I suspect he'll never tell... :D

I'd be interested in what the OP thinks a no-tell motel is. He asked about this in June also.

In most parts of the US, 'no-tell motel' means a motel that charges by the hour and is used exclusively for illicit activities -- affairs, maybe drug deals, etc.

But in a few areas, the usage has broadened to include any budget motel, even those that charge by the night or are suitable for families. And you know how attached rv.netters can be to their regional usages being 'correct' and everyone else's being 'wrong'!
