I think you are right. They were definitely French Canadians who "invaded" us at Mar Rosa, and at San Carlos, he said they were both the same. Has to be.

Looking forward to home and attempting to play with the new Sola unit.

We encountered two Quebec caravans of about 24 units each this year while at Roca Azul - one came in one week and the other the next week. Burned up the incoming power box. We spoke with one couple who had a new Tiffin Allegro Bus (there were about 12 Tiffins) and they told us they would be stopping in Red Bay on the way back to Quebec. I think the dealer gives some buyers a free caravan or something. Did anyone hear French accents in the group you encountered. I would guess the two going to San Carlos could be these two groups? There were quite a few high dollar rigs.

Yesterday, at the park in San Carlos, they said they had a French Canadian caravan of 27 that were leaving tomorrow, Tuesday, and they were getting another one from the same company Wednesday, also 27.

We asked about you yesterday.

We were in Mar Rosa with 5 other rigs and in flew 10 plumonias with 4 people in each, on a city tour. They said they were with a caravan staying at La Ceiba, and started in January. They didn't know Tequila or Kevin and Ruth. Their handlers said they didn't know about Mar Rosa, and wanted information for next year.

I do not know who owns it, the owner of the company who I am a wagon master for who seems to have his ears ot the ground told me about it.

Mario, who's Puerto Vallarta Trailer Park is in his compound, used to, may still, own the beach front hotel right by the old Comercial. It was Las Gaviotas, and at least for a time, RVers had unlimited use of the pools and other facilities there.

What are the odds that he owns the lot behind the current Mega/Comercial? There is bound to be someone who knows, or can ask.

His daughter, Gabby, started collecting for the spaces when she was about 14 years old. She still operates the place for Mario, and her kids are now the age she was when she started collecting.

It is not yet built and it will be behind the mega downtown, not the one in Bucerias.

We live in PV and this is the first I have heard of it. I will take a look the next time I drive by Mega.

We'll be flying to PV in a couple of weeks and will try to find the new RV park and take some pictures. Some people use the name PV for the whole general area. Any possibility you could check if your source meant the Mega in PV or the Mega up the road at Nuevo Vallarta?
