We went in 2013 for the once in a lifetime trip...or so we thought. We are going again for two months in 2015.
I will address the "not driving all the time issue". I was so there...moving, moving, moving because it is a big land. We ended up cutting out peninsulas because we both knew we would be coming back. This time we are slowing it down a bit. We use our 24 foot class C/no toad as a roaming hotel...doing what we wish during the day and landing somewhere for the night to just get some shuteye. Our first choice for night stays is always scenic but when that is not available we are open to anything.
Highly recommend:
Sandbanks Provincial Park...lots of places to walk, laundry, dump station, no electric at sites though.
Go visit labrador for the day or do the gravel road (which is probably by now much more paved...just make sure your rig is in good shape. Hubby just put new shocks in...
Much more, you cannot go wrong just about anywhere.
