  • Northbound geese? Here in PA the geese never went south. Plenty of open water and bare fields for them to feed in.

Deepest snowfall this past Winter around my area was 3 inches and that melted in two days. Frost in the ground. What frost? Couldn't even get all the dead Ash trees logged off because the ground was too soft for forestry equipment to operate without leaving permanent damage.
  • Have a bird santuary about three miles from us. The dang geese winter here, destroying the farms as fast as their planted. Pooing on everything. I need a shot gun and a bulk order of 00 buck shot.
  • I wish the geese in Florida would go home. They seem to have retired here
  • Oh no, the news media will be jammed with "drone" sightings!:R
  • Yep. Lately hearing them in the distant sky when I go to work at 6am.
  • They probably did. Looking at the maps, it appears birds using the Pacific Flyway come from farther south and travel farther north than those in the East.
Fun to see and hear them.

Well I was seeing two or three runs of them a couple of weeks ago here in VA... Guess they got a head start...
