A lot of the items we found in the Canadian supermarkets - Sobeys, SuperStores, etc. However, for a few items, we had to do some searching. Daddy's Sauce and shredless marmalade we found only in Pete's Frootique in Halifax. We also found the shredless marmalade in a small British shop in Parksville on Vancouver Island. I maintain a list of entities that carry various foods so that on our next trip, we know where to go.

There was something in the Parksville paper this summer about the Brit lady who more or less runs Brit Foods (but is not the owner IIRC) being married to a Brit chef who just bought the British Bobby Restaurant recently and is working to provide authentic Brit food there with her help. The article in the paper may have been a paid ad, since I can't find it on a search of articles. Anyway, by next summer, it should all be "sorted." :)
Hope you checked out the Bell museum at Baddeck and popped by Louisburg fort. Campground was on the Myra River IIRC. ("Song of the Myra" by Anne Murray) If not, then next time. EDIT: Ok it is Mira and Louisbourg. ISTR there was some fuss about using German instead of French for there. Whatever.
