Oregon hwy. 26
This looks like a very doable route from Portland to hwy 101. We will be driving in this area in late September to early October. Just wondering if there are any problems associated with this road....

Personally I prefer highway 6 to the coast rather than 26, much less traffic. Roads are similar. However, depends on where you want to get to on 101. far north, take 26, otherwise, I prefer 6 or 22/18 from salem.
and on highway 6 when you get to tillamook, head north a few miles and stop at the Tillamook cheese factory for a good huge ice cream cone.
