Phoenix to Bullhead City
Anyone have a suggestion for the best route to take in a motorhome/towing from Phoenix to Bullhead City, AZ?

- We sometimes take I-40 to Ashfork and south on 89 to Alt-89 to 69 to 169 to I-17. It is about 25 miles further but faster and safer roads. I prefer this route when traveling at night. Otherwise 93 thru Wickenburg is fine.
- Depending on where you are in the PHX area - we always use 101 to I 17 and north to the Carefree Highway (74) then west to meet US 60 just a ffew miles south of Wickenburg - then northwest as others have said. This avoids the US 60 thru' Sun City etc traffic mess!

93 can become quite busy on Fridays and Sunday's so take your time-a lot of serious accidents from idiots passing and speeding.lbrjet wrote:
