Permit good specific # of days,can't remember how many. We do know that we had expired by 5 days and we renewed in Prince Rupert at 1 am when we got off the ferry. Funny now but not then. Border patrol upset cause shot gun was loaded fine for that. What the hell use is an unloaded gun. They let us go after jacking all the shells out on the camper floor and renewal of permit.
