Really any tank that fits dimensionally will work. Typical mounting for slip tanks is in front of the tool box. But I’ve put tanks behind the tool box too. Just harder to get into the tool box and more weIght on rear axle.
Are you talking gravity feed with a check valve? Either way I’d put a ball valve on the tank.
It’s a relatively simple job, a shop may charge 2-3 hours
