I find it surprising that new buses without the DPF's can't be found. When I spec'd our 2011 Ford Super Duty 6.7 diesel pick up one of the options on the list was a "non USLD" option from the factory (no DPF and other emission stuff). I would have loved to get this option but it wasn't allowed in our jurisdiction.
Sounds like an excuse not to spend money on new vehicles!
Those Mexican garage boys would yank those DPF filters off quicker than you can blink an eye.
We know how those Mexicans are; if it ain't workin' - fix it.
