I got my Master's degree in towing last fall going south on Highway 1 into Fort Bragg, CA. It was the toughest tow of my life and many times on right hand curves I had to cross into the opposite lane to have room for the back of my 31' trailer to clear the hillside.
We were on Highway 1 south of San Fran down to the Hearst Castle on our motorcycles and while curvy and hilly, it was much better than the northern part of the highway.
