Thanks for the heads up about sites being unlevel. We do not like unlevel sites at all. Our Power Gear levelers go nuts on very unlevel sites.
I don't think the sites are bad enough to upset Power Gear or Level Up systems. Anchor Down does require jack pads on the concrete, I guess to protect the concrete finish. I usually set my 6-Point Level Up feet on jack pads just to get a larger footprint.
Don't let the "unlevel" comments dissuade anyone from making a reservation. It's a really nice place. Just come prepared with jack pads.

It's far from unlevel to the point you would need extra wood. You don't. I just found it interesting that someone spending all that money to build a new park wouldn't make sure the sites were really level. Seems like a waste of money unless his lazy brother in law did all the earth moving.

- cwill925ExplorerWe just drove through Anchor Down. Only a hand full of RV's there this time of year, so we were able to see the place with few obstructions. The rolling hills provide very nice views. The sites with the stone fireplaces are awesome. Somebody put some serious money into developing this facility. Sites are all concrete, many with stamped and stained finishes. The roads are all paved. The bath house was really nice with individual bath suites, not a dormitory style row of showers. Each bath suite has a shower, toilet and sink with solid doors and deadbolt locks. The only downside may be as noted by others, the sites are not all level. Some tilt back to front, others side to side, none really extreme, just enough to annoy someone paying a premium price. Considering all I saw, it's a very nice place and will likely try in the future.
- crawfordExplorerI live minutes form there, they been open a little under 2 years, trees will take some time it was a farm field and no trees but in time there will be some. Happy camping.

Why did they make almost all the sites that had a view of the lake/mountains back in? Perfect for a fiver with a back window but horrible for a motorhome. Why not hookups that allow for either way? I sometimes wonder why campgrounds are designed and built the way they are.
the campground N of Baltimore, on the Bay has pull in sites on the water for motorhomes.
bumpy - doxiemom11Explorer IIMaybe if they planted some trees and if there is some grass later. But we appreciate nature so don't usually stay in a parking lot type place.

Every rig can park in a back-in.........not ALL rigs can pull in.
Utilities are expensive to install/maintain/repair.
