I remember it. It was along the same road that Apache and Myrtle Beach Travel Park are located now. That one was sold and turned into condo's. Thankfully most of the rest of the campgrounds down there have resisted selling their land.
There was also one called Sherwood Forest across from where Barefoot Landing is now located. I stayed there with my parents on my very first camping trip in the mid 1960's. We had a luxurious 16' Terry travel trailer. No bathroom or refrigerator in it but we thought it was great. The campground went though several different names before being sold to condo developers. I think it's last name was Barefoot RV park.
